Week 20 Weigh In- Over the Hill

20 Weeks... it took me 20 weeks to get "Over the Hill"! Yes I am proud to say that I hit -50 lbs today! I finally reached a goal! It is an amazing feeling. Here's a little reminder of what 220 pounds looked like on me verses my new and improved 170 pound body.
My stats are even more incredible. So week 4 is when I started logging my inches:

Week 4:                         Week 20:
Weight= 204lbs            Weight= 170lbs       -34 lbs
Chest= 42.5"                Chest= 26.5".          -16 in
R Arm= 13.5"                R Arm= 12"             -1.5 in
L Arm = 13.5"                L Arm= 12"             -1.5 in
Belly/Waist= 44.5"       Belly/Waist= 37.5"     -7 in
Hips= 44"                      Hips= 40.5"             -3.5 in
R Thigh= 27 3/4"           R Thigh= 24.5"        -3.25 in
L Thigh= 27"                  L Thigh= 24"            -3 in

Total inches lost equals 35.75! Oh my god! You have no idea what this means to me to have accomplished such a huge goal and how much my life has changed! I am confident and feel good all the time! I went from a size 14 to a size 10, a size 40 DDD to a 34 DDD, and a size XL to a M shirt. I worked my ass off and sure as shit going to keep it going! So what does this mean now? NEW GOALS! I just know I have more fat to lose so I am going to work on small weight loss goals now. First goal "over the hill" will be 5 lbs this month. I know I know it seems like that's such a small goal but I have way more muscle now and it's getting harder to actually lose weight. I am working on toning more than anything, but I know I've got 5 more to get rid of on my belly or thighs! Haha! I seriously love you all and thank you so much for being so supportive! Work hard this week! Remember that just getting up and moving is an amazing improvement to your health!

Before & Afters... Amazeballs

So my weigh in this week is still the same at 172. I did lose 1/2 in in each leg, but that's about it this week. I would like to think that my muscle mass is what's taking over, but I really don't know. I feel thinner each week, and really that's all that matters! Not to mention I finally reached my size 10 jeans! Which brings me to this blog... I know once a month you get to see my body transform, but I wanted to see how different my body looked in some of my old clothes. OH EM GEE this was so much fun! December 2011:   Dress size 14/16 You can't even tell in this after photo, but all that fabric in the stomach has about 2 inches from it to my belly. It also make me look like I have NO BOOBS at all! August 2012:  Dress size 12 I look like a sausage stuffed in that dress! GAH! Look how much longer it is on me now. (Way more appropriate) I even have to take this in just a tad in the chest. I love this dress so much more now than looking back! Wedding Day 2012:  Dress...

9 Week Update

It really is amazing what you can achieve when you put your mind to it. The last 9 weeks I have changed my eating habits, portion sizes, and added more time to work out in my schedule. I made it a priority and this is what has come of it so far...                                                       Week 1                                              Week 9 Weight=      -19 lbs                   207                                                   188 Waist=        -4.5"              ...

You do you, and I'll do me

I read a post the other day that triggered anger in me. It could have been because I read it right after I posted my last entry about all the wonderful things I am doing to get happy, healthy, and fit again...It could have been because I didn't completely agree with everything this person said, I don't know. Let me clarify, it was not about me. It was strictly an opinion of someones. You can ask anyone of my friends and family, I really value people's opinions and most of the time if I don't agree I usually am answering with a simple, "OK" along with a half smile and change of subject. (Now you know my secret, Ha!) I hate confrontation or arguing opinions because those are someones true beliefs and when you truly believe something why go round and round with them to get nowhere! I don't have time for that. I'll let you say your peace and I will say mine, if we don't agree, we move on. It's simple. But here is my peace... Four years ago ...
