Monday Weigh In- Week 12 Complete

Well I can tell you one thing... Even if I didn't lose a pound this week I'm feeling pretty happy with my results! Here are this weeks stats and my pictures. (I had a request to post all of them in order)

Week 4:                         Week 12:
Weight= 204lbs            Weight= 187lbs
Chest= 42.5"                Chest= 38.5"
R Arm= 13.5"                R Arm= 13"
L Arm = 13.5"                L Arm= 12.5"
Waist= 44.5"                 Waist= 40"
Hips= 44"                      Hips= 41.5"
R Thigh= 27 3/4"           R Thigh= 26 "
L Thigh= 27"                  L Thigh= 25.5"

My stats today compared to my stats in week four is incredible, losing a total of 15.75 inches off my body and of course 33 pounds from the beginning! I keep looking at the newest picture and can't believe that's me...not sucking in either! I feel so confident and sexy again and I seriously just want to keep going. I have come so far these last 3 months that I have to pat myself on the back for the things I have achieved so far. The only thing I was disappointed in myself for was that I didn't complete my AB Challenge, but here's to a new month and I will be completing it this month. So next month I will have a "Sexy Arms" workout for August.

I think this month I will be focusing on my strength training more than my cardio. I LOVE my cardio I think too much so I asked my brother to help me get into weights a little more. Hopefully it will help shed some more inches off and help me get swimsuit ready for this gorgeous weather we have had! I look up to him so much for fitness goals. I don't think he realizes it, but if you need a boost in your life just talk to my brother. I have told him before he should be a life coach. He's pretty much the one who kicked my ass into high gear and for that I will always be grateful for him.

Alright, enough of the sappy shit...my goals this month:

*Complete my AB Challenge
*Lose 10 lbs
*Fit into my size 9/10 jeans and shorts

I know I can do this! You can too! Never give up just keep moving forward. I have to remind my self that if I have an off day just come back swinging harder. And don't forget to reward yourself for your achievements, whether it be fitness or not. I feel like sometimes, especially women, we forget to do that, so buy those new shorts for the 10 lbs you lost or have a beer for the 1200 calories you just burned. It's really ok! You should always be proud of the things you accomplish! Hope you have a great week! GO PLAY OUTSIDE!

Fitness Friday- Squat Challenge Results

So some of you knew that I was doing a 30 day squat challenge... Well I finally completed the challenge and have my before and after. Still have a ways to go but holy cow there is a major difference. (Excuse my photography skills. My husband was sleeping and just decided to take them on my own.) I love SEEING my body transform! I really encourage people to take photos of them selves, although it may be gross or embarrassing at first, it is an amazing motivater and when you do start feeling discouraged you can take another photo to help you see that you really have transformed. Remember, the scale is only a small indicator of your success! How you feel, and how your clothes fit is the most important. Here is the challenge I did in case you want to do your own squat challenge!  Enjoy! I know I did. I even may do it again! -Ash

1 Year of Hard Work = The Real Me Reborn

One year ago today marked the first day of finding me again. One year ago I was depressed, miserable, lazy, unhappy, overweight, and lonely. One year ago today, I weighed 220lbs. I can't even begin to tell you how much of me has changed physically and emotionally. When I decided to take this life long journey to be fit and happy, I never in a million years would have thought this would be fun and exciting. Most people may think I am crazy, and I would say they are very correct! I am crazy about having energy again, crazy for being able to feel good in my clothes again, crazy that I can now run, walk, lift, hike, or any other activity WITHOUT hurting. Yep, I would say I am crazy  if that is what crazy is to the average person. Throughout this last year I have accomplished so many goals! I have never made a huge goal and accomplished it until this journey. I lost 50 pounds within the first 4 months and have kept it off, plus have lost even more. Crazy what you can acc...
